Ray has been a freelance musician in the Houston area for over twenty four years. Having studied at San Jacinto College and Sam Houston State University, he has mainly functioned as a reed player for Broadway-style shows around town. A few of his credits include Theatre Under The Stars, the Houston Symphony, and the A.D. Players. 

An active educator, Ray maintains a private saxophone studio of over forty weekly students in the Woodlands and Spring area, primarily in Conroe ISD. 

Ray has been on a rigorous “barbecue tour” visiting several spots around this fair city and can tell you, definitively, which one is best. Ask him about it, if you have about an hour.
